MOTO G9 PLUS REVIEW:

 INTRODUCTION:

Motorola has been focusing on their budget and mid-ranger phones for the past couple of years and they are continuing this with MOTO G9 PLUS. It has a large screen , large battery life , good chipset etc .

The Moto G9 plus wouldn't stand up in our 2020 phone lineup except for the very light moto logo on the back. It has a wider camera bump than last year's. It might look like glass , the phone has a unibody plastic chassis, that's an absolute smudge magnet . The gaps and sharp edges make it comfortable to hold but using one-handed , the size make it a bit unwieldy. The G9 plus it's also a wide phone and hefty too. There's no IP rating or water repellent coating and the front doesn't have any special protection either . It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which she reliably but it's not very fast. It has a 6.8" IPS LCD large screen with 1080p resolution. It doesn't have HDR 10 support or high refresh rate.

It has 3.5mm audio jack on the top of the phone for headphones and FM radio . It has a single downward facing speaker instead of stereo speakers. Loudness is decent but bass is lacking . It has a 4 gigs of Ram which is little low in this age and there's no higher memory configuration. It comes with a 128 gigs base storage with expandable memory card slot . It also has NFC for contactless payments .

This  phone has a Snapdragon 730G chipset which is decent enough to hold out games and day-to-day tasks nicely . It has a battery life of 5000 mAH with 30W fast charging. It gets zero- 54% in just half an hour. Moto offers a clean UI with Android 10 with can be upgraded to Android 11 in coming months. There are few more options than usual to take advantage like Twists to launch the camera, double tap the power button to bring out a pop-up window with your favourite apps.

G9 plus has a quad- camera setup. It has 4 cameras, 64mp main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8mp Ultra-wide cam with f/2.2 aperture , a 2mp macro cam and 2mp depth sensor. The photos captured are above average quality. It has 16mp punch hole camera which is quite decent.
